THIS IS A FULL-TIME, SEASONAL POSITION FOR THE SUMMER 2021 SEASON (APRIL THROUGH THE END OF OCTOBER)

Mission Point Resort, Mackinac Islands’ only full service, casual resort is currently seeking candidates to fill the position of Receiving Supervisor. This full time/seasonal position is located on Mackinac Island and offers competitive pay, housing, other perks. POSITION SUMMARY

The primary role of the Receiving Supervisor is to work with the Purchasing & Receiving Manager to lead the Receiving team in ensuring that the highest standards for cleanliness, safety and sanitation are maintained throughout the storerooms. This individual will maintain inventory par levels of food and beverage items and perform duties in an accident-free manner while maximizing cost control.  This position reports to the Purchasing & Receiving Manager.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least one year of purchasing/receiving experience is preferred
  • Working knowledge of Adaco Inventory Systems
  • Working knowledge of Receiving processes and procedures
  • Knowledge of OSHA and safety standards within the department
  • Proactive approach, with exceptional initiative and problem solving abilities to ensure the highest level of productivity.
  • Ability to work on Mackinac Island seasonally
