THIS IS A FULL-TIME, SEASONAL POSITION FOR THE SUMMER 2021 SEASON (APRIL THROUGH THE END OF OCTOBER)

Mission Point Resort, Mackinac Islands’ only full service, casual resort is currently seeking candidates to fill the position of Food and Beverage Banquet Supervisor. This full time/seasonal position is located on Mackinac Island and offers competitive pay, housing, other perks. The ideal applicant will have two or more years of experience in Food and Beverage (preferably in Banquets), possess an upbeat leadership style, and have experience working in a multi-cultural environment.

POSITION SUMMARY

Assist the Banquet Manager in directing and guiding the banquet staff for Mission Point Resort events to provide exceptional service to banquet guests. This position reports to the Banquet Manager and Senior Food & Beverage Manager.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of a High School diploma and two years experience food service is required
  • ServSafe and Etip Certified is helpful
  • Understanding of Food and Beverage Point of Sale systems
  • Strong knowledge of F&B service processes and procedures
  • Understanding of liquor laws and regulations,
  • Proactive approach, with exceptional initiative and problem-solving abilities to ensure the highest level of productivity.
  • Ability to live and work on Mackinac Island seasonally
