THIS IS A FULL-TIME, PEAK SEASON POSITION FOR THE SUMMER 2021 SEASON (MAY THROUGH AUGUST) - PERFECT FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS

Mission Point Resort, Mackinac Islands’ only full service, casual resort is currently seeking candidates to fill the position of Front Desk Supervisor. This full time/seasonal position is located on Mackinac Island and offers competitive pay, housing, other perks. The ideal applicant will have at least one year of guest/customer service experience, possess an upbeat leadership style, and have experience working in a multi-cultural environment.

POSITION SUMMARY

The primary role of the Front Desk Supervisor is assist the Front Desk Manager and the front office team to provide Mission Point Resort guests with an exceptional service experience. The Supervisor's primary role will be to complete a variety tasks which include check in and check out, ensuring daily checklists are completed, assisting with guest issues/complaints, and working with guests to ensure their satisfaction.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School or equivalent education required with a minimum of one year of guest/customer service experience preferred.
  • Be an enthusiastic, helpful and positive member of the team
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to problem solve and make decisions guided by policy and procedures.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
