THIS IS A FULL-TIME, SEASONAL POSITION FOR THE SUMMER 2022 SEASON (APRIL THROUGH THE END OF OCTOBER)

Mission Point Resort, Mackinac Islands' only full service, casual resort is currently seeking candidates to fill the position of Cafeteria Attendant. This full time/seasonal position is located on Mackinac Island and offers competitive pay, housing, other perks. The ideal applicant will possess an upbeat attitude, and enjoy working in a multi-cultural environment.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Cafeteria Attendants primary role is to ensure a pleasurable dining experience for the resort team members. It is priority to make sure the food is ready and in place when food service begins.  This individual will perform a variety of tasks including serving in a buffet style environment, cleaning and sanitizing tables, sweeping and moping the dining room, stocking utensils, condiments, paper products, and breaking down after food service.  This position reports to the Sous Chef.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent and one year of working in a restaurant kitchen is preferred
  • Ability to work on Mackinac Island seasonally
